Reading Annotations
What are reading annotations and why do we do them?
"Reading annotations are little squiggles or pictures that can be used to describe what that thing is for example, * this is what you put in front of a sentence if you think it’s important and x is what you put in front of a sentence if you don’t understand it or you are confused. the infinity sign is if you have a connection the thing you are reading and if you circle the word that means that that is a word you don’t understand or a word you don’t know and finally the ? is if you have a question" - Greta
"A reading annotation is symbols that help you read a paragraph." - HR
"A reading annotation is a symbol that helps you with your comprehension skills" - Zoya
"A reading annotation is a symbol or mark showing what we read and kind of making notes that are drawings on the paper that can help you remember it or help someone else know what you are thinking" - Yulia
"We annotate because if you have a question then you can put a question mark and ask somebody later about it." - Eshan
