Plant Visual Journal Page
Today we started our last project of the year. It is a combination of Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Art!
We needed to:
- Choose a plant native to Alberta from the Kainai Plant Index.
- Research its features:
- Life Cycle
- Habitat
- Adaptations/Protections
- Indigenous story/uses
- Create a two-page Visual Journal non-fiction page that includes text features from non-fiction books like:
- realistic images
- diagrams
- captions
- glossary
