Reminder: Math Tests need to be Signed and Returned

Hi Parents,

This is a friendly note to let you know that the Number and Graphing Assessment was sent home today. 

As a class, we went through the questions and talked about possible correct answers. Your child was given the chance to correct their quiz in another colour so that you can see their original answer and the correct answer, and to understand their mistakes. 

The Assessment has two marks on it, which relate to two different Math stems on the Report Card: Number, and Data Management. I talked to the students about how those marks were generated, based on their answers, and what a "Level Four" mark would look like. 

Please spend some time looking through the assessment with your child. Then, please sign the first page of the quiz and return the quiz to school with your child so that I know you have seen it.
